Helena Jeppsson wins the trip to the Line Dance Showdown and a teaching spot, Cheers! Next, we look forward to the choreography competition from the U.S. which begins at the Tampa Event in November. For those of you who are interested in the competition, please read the following informstion on The United States Line Dance Choreography Championships (USLDCC):
The USLDCC is an organization that promotes amateur choreographers in the USA and offer five sanctioned events in which an amateur choreographer may compete in:
- Tampa Bay Line Dance Classic
- Big Bang Dance Classic
- Line Dance Showdown
- Line Dance Marathon
- Fun in the Sun.
Tampa Bay Line Dance Classic, Big Bang Dance Classic, Line Dance Showdown, Line Dance Marathon, and Fun in the Sun.
The USLDCC is launching in November at the Tampa Bay Line Dance Classic ’14. The USLDCC is open to any amateur choreographer. Amateur, as defined by the USLDCC, is one who has never accepted money, or who accepts money under restrictions specified by regulatory body for participating as an instructor at a workshop/event, where you teach your OWN choreography. This does not include “volunteering” as an instructor at workshops/event.
There are three divisions: Newcomer/Novice, Intermediate/Advanced, and Phrased.
There are great prizes to be won at each qualifying events and the Grand Prize is an all expense paid teaching trip to the 2016 World Dance Masters in England.
