Ready 5-6-7-8: Dancing is for fun, right?... Read on! (20/5)
Do you agree that dancing is for fun? Some say something else... What is it, then?
We all dance to get some fun, right? No? Yet, some dance to forget... Familiar? This review,
we look at several fun dances as well as some of the latest in the linedancing world. Roy
Verdonk & Jose Miguel - our talent Dutch guys show off their waltz dance in Blue Ain’t The
Color with simple twinkle & plenty of slides. Kate Sala grooves with Let’s Mess Around, and
Francien Sittrop another Dutch lady talent does not want to lose out presenting Sofia - in the
same genre as Alvaro. Rhoda Lai - our Canadian leading star at the moment grooves along
with Boys & Girls - the way she moves, the delicate steps, and flow will make you high and
What to dance more. Carazon Diamante by the trio - Roy Verdonk, Maggie Gallagher
& Irish talent - Gary O’Reilly rock you with their samba themed dance. We love particularly
the behind side rock, syncopated sailor step 1/4 turn & touch movements followed by the
Bumps - Shiok! Is the word to describe the dance. In our previous review, we compare
several simple and yet fun dances that are both choreographed by lesser known
choreographers from Asia and well-known Western choreographers. Are the Western one
always the best? We let you decide and be the judge! This review, we look at 2 more Asian
and an upcoming choreographer from Denmark. First, we have Mayee Lee of the Charming
Ladies fame who wants to have fun - she will mesmerize you with her lovely, cute & yet
fun dance: My Chocolatte. The Malaysian lass shows her talent here - playing with the
167-count dance with ease - she’s really cool, Men! Next, we have Jennifer Jou from
Taiwan who shows how to dance the lengthy 136-count dance routine, smoothly & with
ease, as if you are doing a 32 or 64. She Showcases El Condor Pasa - her new dance this
May. Last but not least we have 2 Danish lass who show that they are capable of having
fun with their 112-count dance routine - De Luna. We like the footwork as well as the hand
movement about the chest. And they are Malene Jakobsen & Anja Bach Christensen.
Welcome to the world of line dancing... Dance!
