Who choreographs one of the greatest dances of all time some 16 years ago? He is none other

than Daniel Whittaker – who penned “Chill Factor” and whom has contributed immensely to 

the line dancing world. 

Daniel Whittaker has a background of more than 21 years of dancing, including choreographing,

judging, event organizing, Dj-ing, and teaching for the past 19 years all over the world. He 

teaches all aspects of dance - West coast swing, Waltz, East coast, Cha Cha, Funk, Rumba,  

Latin, Charleston etc. 

Daniel has also won a number of awards and achievement over the years:

Daniel has also appeared on TV, Theatre and he has helped choreograph the Commonwealth 

games closing ceremony held in Manchester when the event director decided to use the 

dance: Chill Factor.

For many years, Daniel has always raised money for charity including St Lukes Hospice, British 

Heart Foundation, Hope House, Prostate Cancer UK and most recently supporting the charity 

M.I.ND

Daniel has been choreographing dances for many years and has had many successful hits, 

including the greatest hits – Chill Factor, some 16 years ago. Some of the other dances 

include Dream Lover, Mad 4 it, Alive & Kickin, Hit the Base, Dirty Mind, Rock this Factor, 

Knockin On Wood, Those Were The Days, Foot Play, 7th Wonder Cha, Slip Away, Pregunta, 

Blue Fever, Crank It Up, Drive By, Funk De Paris, Mona Lisa, Pink Stilettos, and The Tango 

Project.

Daniel conducts dance workshops in many countries including France, Spain, Canada, USA

, Australia, Finland, Denmark and many other places, and he is one of the regular DJ for 

the Crystal boot awards, European dance championships, UKDC, Blitz Jive and many other 

dance events across UK and in Europe.
